The Indian Air Force (IAF) signs a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with IISc and FSID.

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and the Foundation for Science, Innovation and Development, IISc Bangalore have entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗶𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 (𝗜𝗔𝗙), on November 18, 2024. This collaboration aims to address critical challenges in the maintenance and servicing of radar, aircraft, IT, and communication platforms by jointly identifying problem areas and developing a strategic roadmap. Aligned with the vision of 𝘼𝙩𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙧𝙗𝙝𝙖𝙧 𝘽𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙩, this partnership will not only enhance self-reliance in defence technology but also encourage startups, MSMEs, and industrial setups to actively contribute to defence indigenisation programs.
